More family adventures

There seems to be a theme with the photos I add to my blog.
I realized the majority of the photos on here are of my boyfriend, my twin and my brother in law. Well to be honest they are the peeps I hang out with the most and I dig taking their picture!
This weekend my sister and her husband will be moving back to our home town, it's further than they live now. I worry that I won't be able to see them as much.
My day job or more like my night job consumes a lot of my time, I'm usually working until 11pm. Doesn't give me much time to see my local friends never mind people that live further away.

Hopefully one day I will be able to spend more time with friends that live close and far.. and even farther... Mrs. Texas!
I miss you all!!!

In honour of their awesomeness I will post yet more pictures of our summer outings :)

p.s. 9 days until vacation time!

Dear Summer,

I LOVE YOU!!
If only it could always be warm.
Life has been busy as usual, plans to head out east in a couple of weeks.
Soon I will see the ocean for the first time ever!
For now some summer pictures I shall share with you.

Good things come to those who wait.

I never been a huge wedding fanatic, but learned this weekend how magical they can really be.
After my sister waited patiently for seven years she tied the knot with the man of her dreams.

I was lucky enough to be the maid of honor and watched over the last two years while she put so much energy into planning her big day. It was wonderful and made me feel very lucky to be a part of it.

Days like that make you appreciate the people in our lives.. my sister, my new official brother in law, family, friends and of course the love of my life.
It’s life lessons that make me truly believe that good things happen to those who wait. Never to force love it will happen when it happens. Thankfully I found my dream boat.

The day started off gloomy with threats of rain and thunderstorms at times Lisa thought the ceremony would need to be moved inside. As soon as we headed to the car the sun came out and everything fell into place.
I think I was more nervous than the bride who seemed pretty cool and calm. Lisa walked down the aisle looking like a classic movie star making her husband teary eyed.

It was everything they could of hoped for the reception was wonderful, somehow I managed to make it through my speech! It was amazing times!

Dancing up a storm!

Lisa's getting hitched!

This weekend!! I'm excited can you tell!?

So I promise.. I will try not to mess up on my maid of honor speech and I will try my best not to cry too much at the ceremony.
Fingers crossed for good Canadian weather!

In other news we moved into our lovely new apartment.
A few pictures from a BBQ we had a week or so back.

My wonderfully talented boyfriend made the shelves.

Between all the craziness going on it's nice to relax with some good friends in our new place.

Keys

We are off to get our apartments keys today!
Moving in at the end of the week.. we need to start packing.

New York, New York

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to visit my friend who is recently living in Brooklyn.
After a 12 hour bus ride, we made it to New York. I fell in love with the city immediately, especially Williamburg, where my friend is currently living.
I had an amazing time hanging out with lovely friends who I don't get to see nearly enough.

This is her place, I adore it.

Busy Streets

Great friends.

One day..one day I will get to go back. I absolutely love to travel, it's such a wonderful experience to discover new places. Makes me look forward to the summer road trip coming my way! :)
