Baby Polaroids

Oh how I love going through old photos, now that we finally have our scanner working I will probably post a ridiculous amount of them. I found these baby pictures mostly of me and my sister, it looks like they were taken during our birthday and Christmas. If only I could track down the Polaroid camera they were taken with, I could add it to my collection!

Family outings...

Yesterday we took our family on a little adventure my dad, step mom, sister, brother in law and nephew came up to the city. I thought they would like to check out the Distillery District so we grabbed our cameras and became tourists for the day.  It's funny how people assume if you are taking pictures you are a tourist. I had people trying to give me tourist pamphlets, I should have started talking in an exotic accent.
The family crew.

we got side tracked by a monster attack..

and monster bum grab.

Fun family day, looking forward for the next visit!

Thinking about fall..

Alright so it's fall, the weather is a lot colder, the days are a lot shorter and our yard looks like ten trees exploded. With the dark and cold usually means I'm hibernated indoors only to come out when I'm fooled by what appears to be a "warm sunny day" but instead is arctic like and freezing. However, this year I'm going to embrace Canadian weather by actually purchasing a warm seasonal jacket and boots that don't make me slide halfway down the street.

Also, here is my fall/winter to do list..

-purchase a new camera to take almost everywhere.
-crochet more scarfs then I know what do with
-go ice skating downtown more than once
-visit friends in Kingston and stay somewhere haunted
-host a potluck X-mas gathering
-find antique auctions
-take a fall road trip to the "Big Apple"..this one..
I'm going to start thinking about list number 2, but this is a good start!

An Aluminum tree

Okay, I know it's a little too early to think about Christmas but I really, really, really want an aluminum tree! I remember growing up my grandmother had every type of X-mas tree imaginable, I thought they were neat, so the hunt is on! The Mr. is not so crazy about them but we could always have two right!?
If you find one for a bargain let me know!
